Vacation Fun

During Ethan’s school break, back in February, we spent about ten days in Peru. Getting to Peru and back was no easy task; Gavin cried most of the way down there and back. I think I got scarred for life and my next trip down there will include me and Dave only until everyone in this family is at least three years old. Summer was in full swing. It was hot, humid, and sticky and there was a lot of pollution, enough to take my poor lungs the rest of my life to recover. On a very happy note, the day I got to Lima, all my pregnancy illnesses dissapeared but the day I got home, all the illnesses came back, must be environmental! We had a good time visiting with family and friends and even got a chance to go swimming at a couple of different pools and to the beach. We took taxis to get around town. Sardines don’t know what being packed means compared to us seven plus the driver in a small car. We now have a new appreciation for our spacious van.
