1. My oldest sister chose my name.
2. I was a month old when I had my first sun burn. Way to go mom!
3. I was 1 when I was potty trained
4. I was 1 when I learned to sew buttons with a regular needle
5. As a child I did not like playing with toys, instead I climbed trees.
6. When I was a preschooler I did not like my name.
7. As a young professional I went by Kat (got tired of having to repeat my name multiple times and even spell it, only to have it butchered, mispronounced and written wrong!) but now prefer Katuska.
8. My favorite cartoon growing up was Lulu.
9. My favorite books growing up were Uncle Tom Sawyer, Little Women, and Seven Cousins.
10. It was not until I was in college that I broke my first bone!
11. I am allergic to something I love to eat... avocados!
12. I love to eat powdered milk by the spoon full, when Dave sees me he says he wants to gag.
13. I do not have a favorite color.
14. I do not have a favorite food or dessert. There are so many to choose from why settle with just one?!
15. I won a debate contest in high school during the spring games.
16. I tend to read magazines and some books from back to front.
17. The only illness I had was as a teenager, my mom was worried and ensured I contracted chicken pox (and I got a very mild form of it) from my nephew.
18. I never did learn how to do cart wheels, I still don’t know how!
19. From the time I was born to the time I went to college I moved once. Since then I have moved………………….17 times! AAAHHHHH! the joys of being a free roaming adult (14 of those moves were as a single gal)
20. Among the strangest things (to me) I have eaten are guinea pig, fish eggs, llama, snails, and sea weed. My favorite? Fish eggs (fried with lots of lemon on them).
21. As a child I wanted to be a detective.
22. My favorite subjects in elementary school were science and geography.
23. My favorite subject in High School was world history.
24. My favorite subject in College was Biology.
25. My LEAST favorite subject in college was statistics, sooooo boooooooooring. I think I have been scarred for life.
26. I have watched cooking shows since I was 5 (it is as far back as I can remember) and I still like watching cooking shows.
27. I was 12 when I made an entire dinner for the family all by myself.
28. The longest I have been without any shut eye is 36 hours straight.
29. I like yellow roses and yellow tulips but not yellow dandelions.
30. My favorite book of scripture is the old testament.
31. I once went on a date with two guys at the same time! Long funny story.
32. I had three dates in one day. A long day of fun.
33. I taught myself calligraphy but have not kept up with it.
34. I took a class in college on watercolor and would like to take it up again.
35. I know how to do pottery (my sister taught me) but not throw pottery yet.
36. I have been doing family history since I was about 15.
